The Woodbridge Tasmania is a Heritage-listed Georgian mansion, transformed into boutique Waterfront Rooms. Situated right on the river, where all early colonial shipping dropped anchor at the 'top of the tide', these Waterfront views have amazing river vistas. Built by convicts in 1825, and restored in 2005 in an Australian Award-winning renovation, The Woodbridge offers a seamless blend of Colonial authenticity and modern comforts. Located in the heart of the Derwent Valley, in the small country town of New Norfolk, The Woodbridge is just 30 minutes riverside drive to the centre of Hobart, 20 minutes to MONA and 45 minutes to Mt Field, Russell Falls and the Tall Trees Reserve. The Woodbridge is favoured by guests as the perfect central base for exploring all of Southern Tasmania. Australia's oldest continually operating country pub, The Bush Inn is just around the corner.
