The Peak Forest Cottage in Western Creek, Tasmania, is your ideal mountain getaway location. Nestled under Mother Cummings Peak (niara), the Peak Forest Cottage is a two-bedroom, fully self-contained cottage that comfortably sleeps four people with a queen bedroom and a second bedroom with a double/single bunk bed. (A pull out trundle bed allows a fifth person to be accommodated for an additional fee.) A wood fire and electric heaters keep it cosy and warm during winter, while a fully equipped kitchen is provided for you to cook up a storm.

Cancellation Policy
Please contact us immediately if you have to cancel your holiday. We will do our best to re-book the cottage. However, please appreciate that unlike larger establishments with multiple rooms, The Peak Forest Cottage is a boutique accommodation for which a cancellation represents 100% loss of occupancy. This is very difficult to recover at short notice. Payment of the deposit accepts the following conditions: • The deposit is non-refundable. • For cancellations made within 14 days of the arrival a fee of 50% of the total accommodation cost will apply (unless we are able to re-book to a similar value). • For cancellations made within 7 days of the arrival a fee of 100% of the total accommodation cost will apply (unless we are able to re-book to a similar value). • Failure to arrive on the due date or cancelled days, change in number of guests, after check-in, will be charged at 100%, unless in exceptional circumstances (at the owner’s discretion).
