Tasmanian Craft Fair
Friday 1st November - Sunday 3rd November
Tasmanian Craft Fair Secretary, Merrilyn Young.
The Tasmanian Craft Fair spans the art-inspired northern town of Deloraine. It's the largest working demonstration of arts and crafts in Australia, held annually, coinciding with the long weekend at the start of November.
It is one of Tasmania's largest events attracting almost 20,000 attendees over 3 days and is home to the prestigious $10,000 Premiers Arts Prize.
Every year, visitors to the Craft Fair are treated to more than 200 fine art displays, craft exhibitions, gourmet food outlets together with entertainment and children’s fun activities. This year the event raises the bar on more working demonstrations and the addition of Masterclasses, with feature artisans announced in September.
Delivered for more than 40 years by the Rotary Club of Deloraine with the primary purpose of supporting artisans of today and the future, while raising funds for community causes.
Craft Fair tickets can be bought online by clicking the Book Tickets link, or in person at the Great Western Tiers Visitor Centre, 98-100 Emu Bay Road, Deloraine.
